Call for Applications: ILDS Conference Support Award
The 19th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply Conference (ILDS Conference) will be held from 28 to 30 September 2026 in Rome, Italy. This major international conference brings together library and resource sharing professionals from around the world for learning, networking, and sharing of best practices.
To encourage and support participation, IFLA is offering a limited number of support awards that will cover:
- Conference registration fee
- Hotel accommodation fee at the designated conference hotel for the official conference dates (check-in 27 September and checkout 30 September).
Travel expenses, visas, meals, per diem, and other incidental expenses are not covered by the award and are the responsibility of the applicant.
The registration and hotel accommodation will be arranged directly by the conference team. Registration will be paid on behalf of awardees, and hotel accommodation will be booked at the official conference hotel.
How to Apply
Applicants should submit a brief letter of up to 500 words in English or Italian to secretariat@iflailds2026.org that explains:
- Why do they want to attend this conference
- How attending will further their professional development in their field
- How their participation will benefit their institution and/or their community
