19th IFLA ILDS 2026
Interlending and Document Supply Conference

AIB is awarding a €350 scholarship to attend the 19th IFLA ILDS 2026 Interlending and Document Supply Conference, to be held in Rome from September 28 to 30, 2026.

Who can participate: AIB members (certified or otherwise) under 35 years old and friend members under 35 years old who are in good standing with their 2026 membership, hold an English language certification at least at level B2, and are professionally involved in the IFLA DDRS (Document Delivery and Resource Sharing) group’s topics. Regularly associated 2026 friends who are members of the IFLA ILDS 2026 organisation are also eligible to participate. They must nominate an employee under 35 from their library/institution with a CV that meets the required qualifications.

How to apply: A CV certifying the required qualifications must be sent no later than April 30, 2026, to segreteria@aib.it with the subject line: AIB 19th IFLA ILDS Scholarship Application 2026.

The jury, composed of CEN members and chaired by President Laura Ballestra, will announce the outcome of the call by May 4th, allowing the winner to apply by the early bird deadline of May 5th.

The winner will be asked to submit an article about their experience for AIB Notizie.
