Silvana Mangiaracina

Silvana Mangiaracina is the head of the Dario Nobili Library at the Bologna Research Area of the Italian National Research Council (CNR). Also known as “the mother” of NILDE, who helped to give birth, still promotes the development and dissemination of its collaborative resource sharing philosophy in Italy and abroad. Silvana has authored more than 150 publications, in journals, books and conference proceedings. Member of the IFLA Standing Committee on Document Delivery and Resource Sharing (2013-2020) and co-founder of the international initiative RSCVD, of which she is now Technical Advisor.
Stephen Wyber

Stephen is Director, External Affairs at IFLA, where he works with colleagues to ensure that libraries enjoy the best possible legislative and funding environment to fulfil their missions. His role bridges both policy and advocacy work, with a strong focus on copyright and knowledge rights, as well as IFLA’s work to ensure that libraries are seen as essential partners for delivery by a wide range of funders and actors.
Stephen has worked with IFLA for over 10 years, and previously held roles at the British Embassy in Paris and the UK Delegation to the OECD. He studied at the University of Wales Aberystwyth and the College of Europe, Natolin.
